The power of the voice

We respond strongly to hearing a human voice, whether it comes from a cartoon character or Siri on an iPhone.

Rhonda Hadi, an associate professor of marketing at the Sad Business School of the University of Oxford, asserts that “adding a human voice to digital assistants can act as a double-edged sword.

““On the one hand, consumers generally respond favorably to human voices and converse with voice-activated assistants in a manner that is more natural than with voices that are programmed by computers.
