According to a survey that was conducted in 2022 by the US job site CareerBuilder, while Gen Zers naturally have aspirations for a variety of lives, the most important issue for this group of workers as a whole is higher pay.
This is also true for Generation Zers who have not yet entered the workforce:In a 2020 job-seeker survey conducted by recruitment platform RippleMatch, 77% of college seniors indicated that compensation would be the most important consideration when evaluating offers.
When compared to millennials, this demonstrates a significant shift in values.
