According to Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, an author and organizational psychologist based in New York, young people are primarily entering organizations that have become “much more conscious about the repercussions of bad behavior at work.

“He asserts that the majority of large businesses now require employees to attend mandatory training on workplace harassment prevention and encourage them to speak up when they observe or experience unacceptable behavior.

He adds, “I think the majority of employees feel more empowered now that they can [speak out] than they did before the Me Too era.”
