Unequal demands
The most recent research on women’s burnout is troubling.
74% of women, compared to just 61% of employed men, said they were very or somewhat stressed out about their jobs, according to a LinkedIn survey of almost 5,000 Americans.
According to a separate study conducted by the health care start-up Maven and the workplace culture consultancy a Great Place to Work, mothers in paid employment are 23% more likely than fathers in paid employment to experience burnout.
