The pandemic wellbeing toll

Work-related stressors of all kinds got worse as a result of the pandemic, and millennial middle managers experienced some of the worst effects.

The most fundamental aspect of their job, the day-to-day management of employees, became significantly more challenging when they switched to remote work.

At the same time, middle managers struggled to prevent their direct reports from burning out as their responsibilities for employees’ mental and emotional well-being increased.
