It has been around for a long time to exercise;For instance, yoga in India, tai chi in China, and Olympic training in Greece all date back many thousands of years.
However, the concept of “fitness” as we know it today is only 200 years old.
One of the earliest examples comes from a Victorian England-based illustrated guidebook written in 1861. In it, women in petticoats and men in neckties exercise various muscle groups.
