Building an entrepreneurial community

Over the past three years, the MIT Innovation Node has collaborated with more than 120 MIT students.Students from each cohort return to Hong Kong as teaching assistants to enhance their own entrepreneurial education while assisting their peers in their education.

Eric Wong, a graduate student in engineering, said, “an amazing opportunity to take what I learned as a participant in the program last year and hopefully inspire the cohort to think bigger of what is possible for them as I felt myself” while working as a teaching assistant for MEMSI.

For the Innovation Node, creating a community of entrepreneurs is essential for encouraging students to think big. This implies associating with similar business visionaries, industry specialists and business tutors — a large number of whom are MIT graduated class living in Hong Kong.
