Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab welcomes initial members
The Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) has welcomed a diverse group of organizations as members in its first year, including leading universities, significant NGOs, and leading businesses.
J-WEL, which was launched in May of last year, uses collaboratives at the K-12, higher education, and workplace learning levels to promote excellence and transformation in global education across the lifespan of the learner.
Under the direction of professors Angela Belcher and Eric Klopfer, the pK-12 Collaborative has a growing list of members, including Save the Children, the educational technology company EnglishHelper in the United States, the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia, and the Wadah Foundation in Indonesia.
